Our new “Euro” design is extra rugged, with a sleek, modern form. Combines al the essentials for high school instruction, plus enhancements usually found only on more sophisticated models.

OPTICAL SYSTEM

• Widefield 10x eyepiece, pointer standard in one eyepiece. Accepts optional #965-160 eyepiece reticle.
• 45° inclined monocular viewing head rotates 360° for reverse position viewing, sharing between students.
• DIN standard 4x (0.10 N.A.), 10x (0.25 N.A.) and 40xR (0.65 N.A.) objectives. Objectives are parfocalled, parcentered and color-coded.
• Quad objective turret is ball-bearing mounted for smooth, precise positioning of objectives.

ILLUMINATION

• 12v 10-watt halogen with reflector enhancement, variable rheostat control.
• 3-wire grounded cord and plug.
• 0.5A time delay fuse.

FOCUSING

• Coaxial coarse and fine focus with fixed rack stop and factory adjusted tension control.

STAGE

• Large 120mm x 120mm (4-3/4 in. x 4-3/4 in.) stage supplied with locked-on, spring activated stage clips. Stage pre-drilled and tapped to accept optional mechanical stage (Model 170-MS).
• Fixed 0.65 condenser mounted in stage.

FRAME

• Rugged cast metal, gray enamel finish.
• Base dimensions: 150mm x 220mm (6 in. x 8-3/4 in.)
• Height 370mm (14-1/2 in.). Net wt. 4.3 kgs (9.5 lbs).
