Model 120-L

Extra rugged, large frame with full sized DIN optical system. Less expensive vertical tube design affords full-sized, high school features and specifications in a very affordable price range. Solid, full-feature performance for instruction through grade 12.

OPTICAL SYSTEM

• Widefield 10x eyepiece with revolving pointer.
• 45mm DIN objectives are achromatic, parfocalled, parcentered, color coded: 4x (0.10N.A.), 10x (0.25N.A.), 40xR (0.65N.A.).
• Revolving triple nosepiece with positive click stops.

ILLUMINATION

• Choose Model 120 with 50mm plano-concave mirror with fork mount, or Model 120-L with factory mounted 115v 15 watt substage illuminator with in-line on/off switch.

FOCUSING

• Rack and pinion coarse focus, plus graduated fine focus.
• Slip clutch prevents damage to focus mechanism.
• Tension adjustment eliminates focusing drift.
• Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.

STAGE

• Large 125mm x 115mm (5 in. x 4-1/2 in.) stage, with locked-on stage clips, is predrilled and tapped to accept optional mechanical stage.
• In-stage 0.65NA condenser lens.
• Calibrated 5-hole disc diaphragm.

FRAME

• Rugged cast metal, gray enamel finish.
• Height 350mm (14 in.). Net wt. 3 kgs (6-1/2 lbs).
