The unique D-EL1 design is large and robust enough to withstand use in schools while still being small enough to be able to be used by younger students. The D-EL1 has more than one magnification and, apart from the 10X-50X variable magnification, the D-EL1 also has a micro magnification of 200X allowing you to even use this camera with a prepared slide. Observing a specimen with the D-EL1's 1.3 megapixel of live resolution is just one of this hand held camera's features. The D-EL1 comes with Eco-Line by Motic Toolbox. This application software allows users to capture still and time lapse images as well as videos. With this software, students can measure, annotate and edit their captured images.
